Open Research Europe (ORE), the European Commission’s open access publishing platform and ICRI invite all ICRI participants to submit papers to a new open access article collection on Research Infrastructures. The collection is the result of a partnership between ICRI and ORE and is led by Jan Hrušák, Special envoy for research infrastructures of the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and senior research fellow at the Czech Academy of Sciences and Ondřej Hradil, Research infrastructure manager, Masaryk University.
The new collection will showcase research stemming from or presented at the ICRI conference and its satellite events, and also welcomes all Horizon funded work on Research Infrastructures more broadly. All Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe beneficiaries are eligible to submit and publish articles in full compliance with the open access terms of their funding at no cost them (with APCs covered by the EC). The collection offers researchers a publishing venue to share their results rapidly and to facilitate open, constructive research discussion. Each article will undergo fully transparent post-publication peer review and will be indexed in Scopus and other major databases once it has passed peer review.
The collection accepts a wide range of article types, including and beyond the traditional research article, such as method articles, case studies, data notes, brief reports and more. To submit to collection, please email ORE Editor Dr Amy Doffegnies (amy.doffegnies@open-research-europe.ec.europa.eu) with the title of your incoming article, and click here to submit. Please don’t hesitate to contact Amy with any questions or for more information. The deadline for submission is 31st March 2023.
