The EU LAC RESINFRA conference aims to present a summary of the most relevant conclusions and outcomes of the EU LAC RESINFRA project as well as provide and open debate and recommendations for the future EU LAC cooperation on RI.
The EU LAC ResInfra H2020 project is aimed at identifying priorities, funding mechanisms, methods, and policies to support Research Infrastructures bi-regional cooperation through a number of research infrastructures pilots.
To this aim, the project is working in synergy with the EU-CELAC Senior Official Meeting on Science and Technology (SOM) Research Infrastructure (RI) Working Group (WG) and other EU funded projects relevant to this scope.
During the Conference a proposal for a 5-year Sustainability Plan will be presented, with recommended specific actions and instruments for co-funding RIs of common interest in order to maximise the impact of the RI collaboration in the construction of the EU-CELAC Common Research Area.
This conference is aiming to present a summary of the most relevant conclusions and outcomes of the EU LAC RESINFRA project as well as provide an open debate for the future EU LAC cooperation on RI. The results of this discussion will be considered for the final version of the Sustainability Plan.
The speakers and attendants to the EU LAC ResInfra Conference will comprise high representatives of EU-LAC ministries with competences in the field of R&I; SOM RI WG delegates; R&I funding agencies; Research Infrastructures representatives (managers and researchers); and representatives of the European Commission.
